February 1: It took two days to take down the deck and build the temporary stairs for Max. The two workers take nails out of usable wood, cut them into usable lengths, and stack them back by the treehouse for later. They are surprised to find that the deck joists had been built right into the addition's joists. I'm not.
It takes a day to take out the patio stones (also neatly stacked) and take down the porch. They find the rats’ nest, but no petrified bodies. I guess that’s good. Two trailer loads of crap wood and old wood f
urniture are gone now.
